Dr. Christopher Lieu on the Next Frontier of Liver Cancer Therapy

Dr. Christopher Lieu, of the University of Colorado Cancer Center, spoke with GI Oncology Now about the upcoming liver cancer trials he has his eye on. He noted that a lot of research around treating metastatic liver cancer is now focused on immunotherapies, with the ultimate goal of having the therapies train the immune system to find, detect, and kill the cancer. Dr. Lieu also discussed the data from ESMO 2023 that he is most interested in seeing.
